In this tutorial, we will draw a retro radio from scratch in Photoshop and Illustrator. We will start by drawing its wireframe in Illustrator and then export the path to Photoshop where we will continue to polish it. This is extra long tutorial with a total of 131 steps! Follow along with today’s Photoshop tutorial to create your own fantasy world, just like the fictional story settings of Neverland, Middle-Earth or Westeros. We’ll use Photoshop’s built-in tools to establish the landmass and sea, then construct hills, mountains and deserts with some simple filter combinations, before finishing off the artwork with a vintage paper texture and place names to simulate an old world map.
Bright colors, curved lines, and a well-chosen font can let your customers know you’ve got a fun product. Combine these elements to create a playful logo in Adobe Photoshop.
It is starting to warm up oustide, so it is only fitting we create a wading water texture vector, like in a pool. It is a relatively quick and easy technique using Illustrator’s Effects, Simplify, Offset Path and some bright colors.
A clever 3-step process in Photoshop can be used to create the effect, then I’ll explain how you can convert the patterns into seamlessly repeating patterns for use in Photoshop and Illustrator.
