10 must listen to podcasts for designers and creatives

A great way to broaden your knowledge as designer is to listen to podcasts while your working. Podcasts can give you some great insightful insight into design from the perceptive of other designers.

This post is collection of podcasts I personally listen to, and would highly recommend to anyone working in the design or creative industry. All of the podcast can be listened most popular streaming platforms Spotify, apple etc. There’s 10 podcasts we recommend checking out and listening to in no particular order. If your starting out in the creative industry or all a veteran creative all these podcast will be a great listen to regardless of your skill level.

1. 99% Invisible

99% Invisible is a sound-rich, narrative podcast hosted by Roman Mars about all the thought that goes into the things we don’t think about — the unnoticed architecture and design that shape our world. With approximately 500 million downloads, 99pi is one of the most popular podcasts on Stitcher, Pandora, iTunes and is available on RadioPublic, via RSS, and through other apps. Sirius XM subscribers may also listen on the Sirius XM app.

Design Matters began with an idea and a telephone line. After an offer from the Voice America Business Network to create an online radio show in exchange for a fee — yes, I had to pay them — I decided that interviewing designers who I revered would be an inventive way to ask my heroes everything I wanted to know about them. I started broadcasting Design Matters live from a telephone modem in my office at Sterling Brands in the Empire State Building.
