One of the most exciting features that have been recently added to Photoshop CC is the capability to create multiple art boards. This feature has proven to be incredibly useful for designers, in web design projects. This helps to ensure that every aspect of the website is well-designed, user-friendly, and aligned with the client’s requirements.

Moreover, the multiple art boards feature in Photoshop CC allows designers to experiment with different designs and layouts, without worrying about creating a new file every time. This time-saving feature is a great addition to the design work flow and allows designers to focus more on creativity and less on the technicalities of creating multiple files.

Hello, and welcome to Creative Nerds. In today’s screencast, we’ll be looking at how you can create multiple artboards using Photoshop, similar to what you can do in both InDesign and Illustrator.

So, let’s start off by selecting File, New, and we’re going to create a new document, and we’re going to ensure that the Artboards checkbox is ticked, and then select Create. From there, it will bring up a new artboard, and we can create multiple ones from there by heading over to where the Direction tool is and selecting the Artboard tool. And then, from there, we can add new artboards. And we can change the size so it’s smaller if we wanted it to be smaller. And then, simply, to change the name of the artboard layout, you’re just changing the name within the layer here. So, for example, you call it Desktop, and you want Mobile. And then, to edit the desktop artboard, it will simply be a case of creating a new layer and just ensuring every layer that you want to appear within that specific Artboards falls within that drop-down, and like-for-like with the Mobile one.

So, it’s as simple as that to create artboards using Photoshop CC. Thanks for watching, and stay tuned to Creative Nerds for quick tips on how to use Photoshop.
