Photoshop actions consist of a series of menu commands such as i.e. filters, image adjustments etc which can be recorded and played back this process is called a Photoshop action. Photo Effect Actions
1) Double sketch effect action for Photoshop
This action offers a “double” sketch effect, just like if you painted the sketch twice, once from left to right, and once from right to left.

A Photoshop action to enhance the appearance of the eye but only works with blue eyes.

This action will allow you to get easy steps in the outline of an image with a style similar to drawing in pencil.

I really like this one, this action gives photos a movie effect which look great when you apply the action to photos of people.
11) Red Action
This is Unrestricted. Use it anywhere, for anything, but let me see. Just give me a link.

This enhances the brightness and contrast of colours within a photo.
13) Amatorka Action 2
Makes the photo darker and adds more shadow.

Changes the colour of a photo to a misty green.

A Photoshop action which gives photos a horror movie effect which looks pretty awesome when applied to a good photo.

@lightroom… well the obvious answer is these are free if you already have PS, and lightroom is $300. also, lightroom is a bloated piece of software in the eyes of people who aren’t pro photogs. so why drop 300bones to install a piece of software that will take up resources when you can just download these actions for free and stay in PS?

Man I feel old… used to use some VERY old photograph actions with Photoshop back in the day – but nothing as nice as what you’re displaying with Photo Aging or Polaroid examples – I’ll have to forward to my design (and might need to take a peak at myself ta boot)

There are a lot of good ones in here that I’ve used before, but there are also a lot of really bad ones. Having a post that boasts 70 of the best is a bit misleading. Many of the actions that try and use a sketch or pencil effect are obviously amateur and make photos look worse. There’s tons of good stuff here though, I’d just encourage you to weed things out before posting and worry more about quality than quantity.
