This is just a short little Photoshop trick for extracting photos on a white background onto a another colour background of your choice. The tutorial is just time saver trick rather than use the filter or extract tool or maybe even if your a novice and not familiar with pen tool.   1. This is a great technique that I use a lot. It’s worth noting that you lose the whiteness of the image when using this method, as it makes the photo semi-transparent in a sense. For example, the man’s teeth now have a yellow tinge. The way to fix this is to insert a layer in between the background and the photo, and paint behind the areas you want white. Since the photo is set to multiply, it will inherit any white painted beneath it, as well as the yellow layer on the bottom. Cheers!
