  1. i would like to win these cars because i am in the process of relaunching my business and redesigning my site and collateral, and high quality cards would be a great complement to my plans.

  2. Up to this point, I have not had professional quality business cards made and would LOVE the opportunity to show my graphics business to its best advantage with “real” cards. ;)

  3. would love to win b/c i am in dire need of business cards! i just won the NYC Condom Wrapper Design contest and i have no calling cards!!!!

  4. On the verge of launching a new Web-based business in my area – ready to start spreading the word and I need business cards!

  5. I would use these cards to start marketing my site offline. I have a new layout and features that I’m publishing soon and I would like to expand my following. 500 cards would be a big help in getting the word out offline.

Thanks for the giveaway and I am located in the U.S.

  6. I have been going on my own as a freelancer for about a year now, and the last cards I had made were while I was still in college, and they were printed at Kinkos. Ugh. Enough said! As a new, young and broke designer I would love this prize!

  7. I would love to win these business cards because I have had such a rough road trying to find the perfect job/industry in being a graphic designer. I graduated in ’08 & have had 3 graphic design jobs since then that have all screwed me over. My first job as a designer after I got my B.A. fresh out of college in GD paid me $8.50. Can you believe that! It’s almost like a slap in the face. My second job was a signage company that needed a designer. I was making good money, the only problem was, apparently the boss wanted a personal assistant to. The job description NEVER said anything about being a personal assistant. The last horrifying company that I worked as a GD for owes me about a month and a half worth of salary pay. I came in everyday thinking I would get paid. :( I was about to give up as a Graphic Designer… but I didn’t. The business cards I currently have are old and out-dated. I designed them I got them printed during my senior year of college. In looking for a new job, I crossed out old info on the card & wrote my new info on it and I still continued to use them. In a week after leaving that last company, I got my break (after applying for a month) and got hired at a fabulous company working for the beauty industry in LA. I never gave up. Even though my business cards were out-dated, they still got me the job I have today. I have been meaning to get new cards & I think maybe this is a great opportunity for me to maybe win something in my life. :)

  8. I am just starting a freelance business and winning these business cards will help me get my business out so that people know about me!

  9. Hi my name is Santos Samayoa and I am an aspiring photographer and also will be helping out to start a brand new church all the way in Hawaii…now see, wouldn’t that have been easier with a business card? haha! I meet with a lot of people and would definitely like to pass on my card to them, thanks!

  10. I’m a young professional. after years of school and excellent academic performance, I was laid off along with a lot of other young people in my field. now I am trying to get a business off the ground, with little experience and even less money. Free cards would go a long way for me. Thanks

  11. First, thanks for hosting the contest!

Secondly, I’ve been printing my own cards for these first few months of my entrepreneurial life, so…time to step it up!

Also, I’ve heard good things about UPrinting – I’d like to try them out so that I can recommend them as a good option for clients.

  12. I am a single father working hard to raise my son. Currently I’m writing a business plan for an innovative social media company. This weekend I will be going to Florida to receive an award from “America’s Blood Centers” for a community blood drive I organized. Business cards would be very helpful during this event. They would allow me to build my brand and stay in touch with much needed contacts.

    Thank you for your consideration.

  13. This would have a huge effect on where I am at right now it would help alot, I would really appreciate the kindness man, I’m also looking for a job and this would be of huge help. Thanks honestly for the chance to win as oppose to winning.

  14. I would use my business cards to advertise my small business. I make jewelry, accessories, and even some home decor. I am going to need more business cards soon, as I am going to be vending locally at various events, and I am currently VERY low on funds as this is my only source of income for the time being. Thanks for the opportunity!

  15. I don’t quite have the design chops to keep faking it myself, creating business cards in templates and trying to line them up and print them on Avery cards. It’s kind of laughable. So I’m overdue for some professional looking ones.

  16. Why am I entering?
I’m part of a unique start-up agency specializing in helping comedians /performers. We have 10+ clients under our belt but still don’t have biz cards! We really need to get some in order to grow our little company and gain more consistent work. fingers crossed..

  17. I am a high school entrepreneur with a three year old photography business. I would love to have a professional business card to use instead of one that I make myself. Camera equipment is so expensive that I have to cut cost on other nonessential things. It sounds like everyone of your readers could benifit from free cards. I would like to say that one-fourth of my income goes toward charitable work and donations. If I am chosen as the recipient of 500 business cards I would be most grateful.
