    Portfolio is a must if you offer design services. Needs to be up-to-date however, I know a few designers who have two site portfolios of work done in 2004/5. There’s a need to demonstrate more recent stuff.

    If you do put together a website or a blog, please be sure to use correct grammar.

    Nothing screams, “Run away!” from a potential service provider than a business blog that is full of misused words, spacing errors (Really? From DESIGNERS?), and poor punctuation.
